This Device detects the Siren emitted sound from current Model Smoke and CO Sensors. Allowing you to receive notifications from your house to your smartphone without needing to worry about wiring up additional wires to your existing smoke detectors.

This sensor is a Z-Wave-enabled device (interoperable, two-way RF mesh networking technology) and is fully compatible with any Z-Wave Plus enabled Home Controllers and its security framework.

Z-Wave Smoke Sensor Adapter responds to the high-frequency siren sound by your Standard Smoke or CO Detectors. Upon detection of the siren the device will trigger an alarm response, allowing you to send notifications to other devices on your Z-Wave Network or to your Smart Phone.

The Z-Wave Smoke Sensor Adapter is easy to install and set up with all the mounting screws included in the devices box.

When the sensor is triggered it will send binary ON/OFF commands wirelessly using a Z-Wave enabled (AUS/NZ version 921.42 MHz) transmitter to assigned controllers, switches, window winders, etc. The sensor can be used to automatically turn on fans, turn wireless switches ON/OFF and for security applications within the Z-Wave network.
