NICE ROBUS400 Gate Kit
NICE ROBUS400 Gate Kit is a 24V DC sliding gate operator with built-in control unit and OXI plug-in receiver. For sliding gates weighing up to 400 kg (RB400).
A quality stylish Italian made sliding gate motor designed for a single residence or gated community alike. With six speeds to 340mm/s so will open a 3m gate in about 10s. Is 24VDC so has the option of a backup battery. Uses a two wire system called Bluebus that allows simple connection of photocells, digital keypads, RFID reader and allows two motors to be synced together for Bi-parting gates all on the same two wires. If get mains power to the gate is an issue the optional Low Voltage Power Box maybe plugged in away from the gate so Low Voltage Power can be run out to the gate OR it can be Solar Powered.
Hi-Speed Automation: Robus delivers rapid gate maneuvers. In just 10 seconds it effortlessly opens gates up to 4 meters wide, enhancing safety.
With a host of new features, including a redesigned control unit for maximum integration with Smart Home systems, the revamped motors stand out as a versatile solution for gates ranging from 400 to 600 kg, while offering simple integration with the MyNice Pro App. Through the app, installers can connect wirelessly with the control unit to change settings, adjust, and run diagnostics, all remotely.

Product Details
User-friendly:
thanks to the BlueBUS system, allowing the control unit to be connected to up to 7 pairs of photocells and control, security and signalling devices with just two wires.
Practical:
control unit and optional PS124 buffer batteries can be connected by means of practical guided – connector.
Advanced:
RB400, RB600 and RB1000 are equipped with a temperature sensor: adapt the motor power to the climatic conditions and at the same time thermal cutout. A master/slave selection automatically synchronises two motors. This means it is possible to automate 2-leaf sliding gates set opposite each other.
Intelligent:
thanks to the obstacle detection system and automatic programming of the working times. Selfdiagnosis by means of a flashing light. 8 programming levels.
Safe:
acceleration and deceleration can be adjusted at the beginning and at the end of each opening and closing manoeuvre.
Sturdy:
base and release in pressure die cast with easy to open handle.
Silent:
gear motor on bearings.

Maintenance Requirements
Sliding gate operators required very little maintenance although it is a good idea to remove the lid once a year and the motor checked for any ants or other small vermin. Ants and any droppings should be cleaned out, holes where they could get in sealed up with silicon sealer and repellent placed in or around the motor.
The rack should also be checked and adjusted by opening and closing the gate while looking at the output gear of the motor where it contacts the rack making sure there is a clearance of 1mm or so. If the motor runs noisy once the rack has been adjusted the motor may need to be pulled apart and gearing cleaned with new grease applied or bearing may need replacing.
If a battery backup is used the Battery needs checking by removing the power from the motor and opening and closing the gate with the motor. If it runs slowly at all, stops or reversed when it shouldn’t then the backup battery needs replacing.
